Arrest Made in Home Invasion
James West
A Knox County man has been arrested in connection with a home invasion and robbery that occurred on Monday June 4th at a home on Bent Road in Sevier County. Investigators working with the Knox Co Sheriff’s Officers identified James Adam West as being the suspect that entered the home and tied the homeowner up and robbed him.
According to Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals, the suspect fled the area on foot the night of the robbery. West was arrested in Knox County after he stole a vehicle there. He was found to be in possession of incriminating evidence that linked him to the Sevier County robbery. A female subject is also being sought in connection with the robbery. West, 29, is being held in Knox County Jail at this time and will be transported to Sevier County at a later date for an arraignment on the Aggravated Robbery charges filed in Sevier County.
