Crime Beat
The following charges are on file at the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office
Darwin Rodriguez, 24, Jess Wilson Road, was arrested for violation of financial responsibility, driving on a suspended license and failure to yield to police lights and siren.
Jacob Alonzo Smith, 23, Dandridge, is facing charges of manufacturing, delivery or sale of Schedule II narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia.
Adam Lee Spurgeon, 25, Gnatty Branch Road, was arrested Tuesday for aggravated burglary.
Roger Derek Asbury, 24, Nichols Street, was arrested Tuesday for the manufacture, sale and delivery of Schedule II narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia.
Dominique Simone Howard, 19, Knoxville, was arrested for driving without a license, violating the financial responsibility act, violation of the open container law.
Justin William Kania, 22, Seymour, is facing charges of violation of probation.
Amanda Melena Adams, 22, Bent Road, was arrested for driving under the influence.
Tracy Evan Morgan, 47, Knoxville, is facing charges of violation of probation and worthless checks.
Dumb crook news of the day;
A woman in Grand Forks, North Dakota was testifying at the trial of two men accused of beating her up and robbing her at gunpoint. The woman gave tearful testimony as she described her ordeal. The prosecutor listened intently to the story, then asked “Are the two perpetrators of this terrible crime present in the courtroom today?"
The two defendants both raised their hands and said “Here!"
