Dollar General robbed on Boyd's Creek
The Sevier County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery that occurred Monday at the Dollar General Store on Boyd’s Creek Road at approximately 1:49 p.m.
According to reports, the man entered the store and brandished a large knife. He then demanded money from the clerk. The clerk complied and gave the robber an undisclosed amount of cash. The man then exited the store and fled in a white SUV.
He was described as being a white male standing approximately 6’0” tall and weighing between 250 to 275 lbs, He was wearing a blue sweatshirt , Khaki colored pants, Dark colored coat, white tennis shoes, with a navy blue colored scarf covering his face. The suspect was also wearing a two toned baseball type cap with writing on the front and side. The vehicle used is a clean looking white medium sized SUV.
