Woman Charged in Stabbing

Staci Hariford is facing charges of aggravated assault
A Louisiana woman has been charged in connection with a stabbing at a rental cabin. According to Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals, on Tuesday evening at approximately 6:55pm the Sheriff’s Office received a call from a rental cabin located at 2808 White Oak Ridge Lane stating that a subject had been stabbed. Officers arrived on the scene and found a 17-year-old male with a stab wound to his abdomen.
The victim was flown to the University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville by LifeStar helicopter with what was thought to be non-life threatening injuries and was listed in stable condition. Detectives were called to the scene where the investigation revealed that the victim and a female, who also staying at the cabin, had been in a dispute which led to the stabbing.
Staci Hariford, age 19 of 2329 Liveoak Dr. Brusly, Louisiana, was arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated assault. Hariford was booked into the Sevier Co Jail under a $50,000 bond. She has a July 18th hearing date in General Sessions Court.
