This week's winner of the make me laugh for the movies contest is Teresa White of Kodak.

"For my husband's birthday our 9-year-old grandson, Cody, gave him a wallet. Cody also put an old Eisenhower silver dollar in the wallet for good luck. My husband asked him "Where did you get this old silver dollar? Cody replied "At the dollar store."

Make Me Laugh For The Movies is a weekly contest sponsored by Reel Theaters. The rules are simple. Send us a funny story, funny photo or anecdote about a personal experience and if we publish it we will send you two free tickets to Reel Theaters Movies on the Parkway.

This week's winner of the make me laugh for the movies contest is Sylvia Davis of Gatlinburg.

 Last week's funny pet photo featuring a funny pet costume prompted Sylvia to dig out a photo of her Chihuahua, Chock. Just in time for the Cinco de Mayo Chihuahua races this Saturday in Gatlinburg.

"My grandson, Cody, is 6-years-old. He was at our house recently and my husband was in bed sick from an attack of kidney stones. My daughter called to see how Cody was doing. Duirng the course of their conversation he told her "Grandad is in bed. He has the Flintstones."

This week's winner of the make me laugh for the movies contest is Tammy Rice of Sevierville.

"My brother is a cop in Chattanooga. Recently, he told me of a drunk driver he pulled over one night. When he asked the suspect whether he’d been drinking, the suspect took a swig from an open can of beer and told him, ‘Yes.’

“The report says that after the suspect took the drink in front of the officer he failed a series of field sobriety tests.”

  "My 5-year-old daughter, Veronica, was recently given some hand-me-down clothes by her older sister, Katie. Veronica was delighted by the gesture and said to me 'Momma, I know Katie loves me. She gave me all her clothes and now she has to go out and buy new ones."'

   This week's winner of the make me laugh for the movies contest is Lisa Carter of Newport. 

   "My brother is a cop in Memphis. He recently told me of an unusual break-in he had to investigate. This dumb crook actually took his 4-year-old child into a house he was burglarizing. After he collected what he wanted he left the property and guess what he forgot? Right, he left his 4-year-old.  When the home owners came home, they found a strange child in their home and many of their things missing. They called the police and while they were investigating, the inept crook came back and told the police the child had wandered off. When the police looked in his car they found the stolen property. He was arrested and the child was returned to his custodial mother who said she would no longer allow the father visitation rights.
