Printer-friendly versionSend to friendSevierville (TN) – The Sevierville Chamber of Commerce has reached its goal of having 650 members following the conclusion of June's "Membership Blitz." This sets a new membership record for the forty-five year old organization. Knoxville Dermatology Group was the 650th business to join the Sevierville Chamber. They were followed quickly by Tennessee Shindig, making 651 members in total. Membership Coordinator Jim McGill says the secret to meeting the membership goal was all in the networking. "When our Sevierville Chamber members tell others about everything they're getting out of their membership, it really opens people's eyes to the benefits of joining," says McGill. "That's all a part of networking and that's something our members do really well." The Sevierville Chamber of Commerce membership committee plans to continue promoting the Sevierville Chamber year-round and offering opportunities to network and attend entertaining and educational programs to all Sevierville Chamber members.
