SEVIERVILLE - Sevierville (TN) –This traffic alert is for the intersection and approaches to Dolly Parton Parkway and Gary Wade Boulevard. Tuesday, May 19 beginning at 9 a.m. the right lane on Dolly Parton Parkway westbound will be closed until approximately 7 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20. Wednesday, May 20 beginning at 9 a.m. the other lane on Dolly Parton Parkway westbound will be closed until approximately 7 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2009.

Eastgate Rd Sville closure
SEVIERVILLE - The City of Sevierville Police Department (SPD) has been notified that a section of Eastgate Road will be closed for an extended period beginning at 8:00AM on Tuesday, August 12, 2008. The purpose of the closure is to replace the bridge on Eastgate Road located just west of McMahan Avenue.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) project will be completed by Charles Blalock and Sons, Inc. The estimated date of completion and road re-opening, weather and other conditions permitting, is Wednesday, April 1, 2009.
The road will be closed from the intersection with McMahan Avenue to just east of the entrance to the Trula Lawson Early Childhood Learning Center located at 550 Eastgate Road. When work commences, the south end of McMahan Avenue near Eastgate Road will be permanently closed.
Due to the closure, motorists using nearby roads should expect increased traffic and possible delays, especially during peak traffic times including mornings, afternoons and early evenings. Major local roads such as Dolly Parton Parkway, Main Street, the Parkway and Hwy. 448 (North Parkway) are also expected to have increased traffic during the closure.
